I always tell my bride clients NEVER schedule a chemical peeling or any other treatment similar to that a week or two before their wedding day. The skin’s peeling usually doesn’t stop in just a matter of days, but She, my bride for this day did her treatment 5 days before her big day… too bad her skin still peels off during her wedding day. I had an early call time this morning at our studio since i had to do an airbrush makeup for Ms. Geri Natalio. She is a part of the entourage of her friend, who is getting married today, January 3, 2009. She opted for an airbrush makeup since she has a problem with her skin due to hormonal imbalance. It also has a tendency to peel off when you apply makeup on her, so application should be very light and easy. Here are her before and after photos. By the way, you might think i already “photoshopped” the after image. Nah! I wouldn’t know how to do that. These are raw pictures by the way. The secret is really in the manner i applied the concealer, airbrush foundation and the pressed powder. By the way, i only did a no makeup look on her ( she prefers to have this kind of look ).

May learned about us through the internet. While her coordinator, Lawrence, was looking for a makeup artist, he happened to see our website. Special thanks to Lawrence for his referral. I used airbrush makeup which was really perfect on her since she has a flawless complexion. Minimal touch-up is also required with this type of makeup as i have already mentioned in my previous blogs. This is one of the advantages of airbrush makeup. After 7 long years of being together, Mike and Meril finally decided to tie the knot. Meril was very emotional all thoughout her wedding and she was quite worried that her makeup would smudge. Of course, she has nothing to worry about coz all the products that i used were waterproof, not to mention I was there till the event was finished. As i was looking at her, I can see that she resembles like Angelica Panganiban the actress, don’t you think so? A day before their actual wedding during the Megapixels-Pacific Voyage Christmas party, I was able to talk with Leslie and that was the only time i found out she was getting married the next day. Leslie is one of our office staff’s in our family’s travel agency business. She already had a makeup artist which she got from a salon, but i actually insisted that as a gift to her, i am willing to do her makeup for free. But since she already paid half of the HMU package, i ask her to just have her hair fixed. Here are some of her before and after photos.

December 20 was the date everyone was free. I was up 2 o’clock in the morning that day coz i had early morning wedding at Dusit Hotel in Makati (Trixia) and another 3pm wedding at Vivere Suites in Alabang      (Sherbet). I will be posting their photos as soon as I get the pictures from them.

I was a bit worried that i won’t have the energy to last the whole night but thanks to energy drinks we had one hell of a party. I didn’t had much time to get a costume for myself so i had to improvise. I also did the makeup of Emms as Medusa and MG. By the way, our theme for this year is Gods and Godesses. It’s the second time around for Martin and Merle. The couple already had their first wedding in England, but since Merle’s parents insisted on a wedding here in the Philippines, they decided to have another one. When we had Merle’s trial makeup, i found out that she was acidic so i adjusted the color of her foundation on the wedding itself. I also used airbrush makeup on her. A week before their wedding, Jessica had her trial makeup with Carlan. A Kim Chiu look alike, Jessica decided to have her bangs down during her wedding. By the way, Carlan did all the entourage makeup ( a total of 8….whew!!! ) since i was in another wedding at Edsa Shangrila that day. Quite busy for a weekday huh!
